Created for a collective project for my old art class. The prompt was to take a pre-existing story and change or re-imagine the main character in some way, then create one spot illustration and one full-page illustration to go in a book. I decided to use the Chinese moon goddess, Chang’e (pronounced ‘chung-uh’) and cross her over with Sailor Moon, a childhood favourite of mine.
